Regardless of your level of religiosity or secularity, irrespective of the complex origins and unresolved questions about Easter, and in spite of the ongoing interplay of commerce, tradition and mythology, SoundEagle🦅 hopes that you have had many wonderful, joyous and meaningful moments during Easter holidays in the past, present and future, and that you have already begun to find inventive ways to celebrate or commemorate this annual occasion with not just Easter bunnies, chicks and chocolate eggs, but also less materialistic pursuits that convey, reveal, encourage or highlight certain spiritual, historical, artistic and/or retrospective dimensions.
The pluralistic experiences offered to you right here in this entertaining multimedia post comprise beautiful presentations of Text Art, Photos, Videos, Computer & Web Graphics, as well as Games and Animations, many instances of which exemplify the malleability, permeability and cross-fertilization of ideas and cultures, whose fecundity, fluidity and visibility are often facilitated and enhanced by potent rendering tools and social media.
Under these scenarios, Easter has increasingly become a creative, thematic conduit through which fusion, experimentation, appropriation and transformation flow, and where reinterpreting, repurposing, recycling and reinventing can freely combine contrasting or opposing elements from the real and the imaginative, the mundane and the exotic, as well as the secular and the religious, the artistic and the scientific. Not surprisingly, many traditionally straightforward hobbies and hitherto simple pastimes have taken on more heterogeneous characteristics as they intermingle with other domains and interests, becoming more infused with the purviews of other fields and disciplines.
For example, those of you who are interested, inspired and creatively inclined may gather your favourite and most attractive (flowering) plants, bring them indoor or outdoor to enliven a particular space or corner by decorating and/or surrounding them with Easter gifts, souvenirs, memorabilia, jewellery, decor(ations), ornaments, plush toys and so on. Take photos or videos, then process and upload them to your choice of social media or social group, such as the ✿❀ Queensland Orchid International Facebook Group ❀✿ as a way of celebrating Easter in a modern multimedia perspective.

Where did all the chocolate go?
I had so much last week
But now I cannot find it
No matter where I seek?
It seems strange that it is gone
There was a plentiful supply
But it’s nowhere to be seen
And I really don’t know why
Ok I did eat some of it
Back on Easter Sunday
And I consumed a little more
During Bank Holiday Monday
And yes I might have had some
On Tuesday after lunch
And a delightful bit of Easter Egg
On Wednesday I did munch
But on Thursday there was plenty left
I know because I had some
And though I tried hard to abstain
On Friday I did succumb
But I hadn’t finished all of it
As Saturday was dawning
So I might have had a smidgen
To see me through the morning
But now it seems to have all gone
What has become of it?
And here’s another mystery
My trousers don’t now fit!
Many Christians read the Easter stories year upon year, as I did for several decades, yet we never compare them in detail. As a consequence, we often do not realize that they are not telling the same story. There are indeed contradictions in the texts, but it is very important to move beyond “mere contradiction” — the issues with our gospels are far more extensive than that. Comparison against the historical record and assessing the gospels for trends of legend development are probably far more crucial. As with many non-believers, I left Christianity specifically because of the Bible, and because I considered and examined its content very seriously indeed.
Perhaps it is time for more Christians to take the Bible and our Easter stories seriously.

SoundEagle has just included a witty poem in this post by which to reminisce our pleasure and guilt of consuming Easter confectioneries.
Did you have any eggstravaganza of your own? If so, how much chocolate did you steal or rob from the Easter bunny to lavish on yourself?

So sorry soundEagle for the delay in replying. I reluctantly ate one Easter egg because though I love chocolate, chocolate does not love me.:) So you can see how brave I was to take on the challenge, lol. How about you? Have you been eggstra kind to yourself this Easter?

Were it not for having a strong will able to curb the yearning for chocolate, SoundEagle would have stopped remaining slim and become a big fat pink elephant long ago, so to speak. Considering that all birds have to be light enough to fly, not a single chocolate egg has melted in SoundEagle’s beak this Easter.

I hadn’t considered Easter in such a secular sense as a melting pot for culture, ideas, and traditions. It is indeed a chance for culture to merge and evolve. It’s always nice when our festivities take on this mantle for newness and growth!

Easter is steeped in history some fact and some fiction and some where lines are blurred…it is also a very colourful time of year and you have many very pretty images too many to have outright favourite…Alas Easter is not celebrated here as I live in a predominately Buddhist country…But I have my own thoughts and memories of Easter:)

Happy Easter, SoundEagle – this is a really exhaustive piece on the festival, and you’ve clearly put a lot of very hard work into it. I did like some of the videos, especially the one about the origins of the Easter bunny, which told me much I really didn’t know before. Great work!

This is a very comprehensive post, with a great deal for everyone to think about.
One aspect which made me think, is when you look at the big picture how much Easter is a time of colour and a more natural joy to its celebration. Christmas as a secular time is filled with angst and trials over the present ‘thing’, a lot of folk getting together who don’t want to get together, folk getting drunk and subsequent events lots would rather forget and for folk on their own it really bring home the loneliness. Whereas Easter is simple joy, and for secular folk an almost innocent sort; yeah we know business cleans up on chocolate eggs and ‘fluffies’ but there is still that innocence (or if you are a genuine pagan- the coming of Spring). This post highlights that. I did enjoy all the reader can dip into some many aspects- The ‘Chocolate’ Poem I could relate too! Very witty and observational.
Being Christian I naturally zeroed in on the ‘Taking Easter Seriously’ post. I simply have to do a riposte to that- not the heavy theological type, or ‘the spluttering angry’ one; nope this will be a Big Picture type- Watch my space.
Best wishes to you for this week, season, year and all the times ahead.

I had no idea Easter ranked so high on the candy hit parade (ha, ha). The little eggs were all charming…and so inventive. For Christians like myself, of course, Easter remains above all a religious celebration. But the joy it brings takes many forms.

Wow, that’s a lot of info, and a ton of graphics. I agree with much of it, and find it interesting. Didn’t quite appreciate Jericho’s atheist-inspired infographic, but everyone’s entitled to their view of things. But I visited his site too, and read his comments about having been raised in a heretical religion before joining a Christian church, which he later left, and I suspect it was his experience with the former that undermined his faith in God.

Whilst I do not in any form celebrate Easter, I applaud your gusto and vim sir, such hard work put in that will raise many a smile as indeed it has for me, I am quite sure. For myself it is the beginning of Spring that is celebrated, the regrowth, the sun coming back at last, and that is connected to the Earth and its ever-surprising seasons rather than any connection to the religious or chocolate elements. I eat chocolate all year round mind you to make up for that. *beams *

Dear SoundEagle,
It’s me, Polski Ryś. I was going through a major breakdown and in despair I removed my previous site. I will create a new one. I am so sorry that I cannot get back the post titled”The sweetness of mandarin”, about your favorite fruit. If I even tried to recreate it, the post wouldn’t be the same. I feel obligated to make a new bloog entry dedicated to you and related to China, probably also to the Mandarin language.Of course, like my previous posts, it will be written in Polish and English.
I just need time, because I have to try very hard. The task will not be easy, because additionally I have to fight the crisis inherent in me.This fight will give my life a new meaning.
Best wishes and have a great day.
Your sincerely,
Polski Ryś

If you could republish your posts entitled “Slodycz mandarynki (The sweetness of mandarin)” and “Ikona kwasnego smaku czyli cytryna (The sour taste icon, i.e. lemon)” on your new blog, SoundEagle🦅 is willing to resubmit comments to both.
Acknowledgement is due to you for intimting to SoundEagle🦅 about your predicament, which, hopefully, can be dealt with positively. It may be helpful to step out of your comfort zone and face your issue(s) little by little. Sooner or later, you will surprise yourself at how far you have ventured and turned the corner.
The key is to gain insight and wisdom through introspection and self-appraisal. If you have been wondering why certain situation or story seems to be repeating, and why the circumstance or outcome has been adversary or hostile, it is helpful to contemplate the process rather than the people, the journey rather than the destination. After all, taking a new direction or making certain changes is so much easier than attempting to change people. Besides, you also have the chance to apply compassion to yourself by realizing that conditioned behaviour is not so much a personal fault as something that can be noticed and changed. Therefore, it is worth the focused attention to observe the process and not so much the content.
In order to distance ourselves from social conditioning and status anxiety, we can involve ourselves in artistic expressions or aesthetic affairs. For example, we can observe Nature and then pay homage in creating works, making crafts or composing blog posts as a result of being inspired.

Thank you so much for great advices, they have a great wisdom and motivation. They will be so useful to me.I am so grateful to you for them.

Another amazing production, SoundEagle! With all you put into this, you left out share functions so I had to share it manually with FaceBook and X, the only 2 Social Media I use.
This is the intro on FaceBook that had to be shortened for Twitter,
There are not enough superlatives to describe SoundEagles’s website. There is so much beauty, animations, music, and different aspects of knowledge and interests, there is no other site like it. I assure you SoundEagle my comment is original and not generated by ChatGPT! 🙂

Dear Ray Cormier
On the one hand, there is ample honesty deserving admiration with respect to your transparency in declaring when and where you deploy ChatGPT, which has its place as an ever-obedient, answer-on-the-fly chatbot, appearing god-like and passing the Turing test with flying colours. Your confession is much appreciated.
On the other hand, since you have recently put the chatbot through its paces via something as heavy as tackling Edward Osborne Wilson’s profound tricolon to something as light as obtaining a decent birthday greeting, one may begin to wonder whether your assurance here constitutes merely a frisky yet thinly veiled display of your tease and facetiousness, or an actual concern that SoundEagle🦅 might indeed construe your previous comment pertaining to your compliment on and promotion of this post entitled “🐥 Easter in Modern Multimedia Perspective 🐰🐣🐇🐤”, and perhaps even your aforementioned confession, as coming not from your heart and soul but from the digital mind of your AI bestie. In any case, SoundEagle🦅 cherishes both your presence and essence, whether or not they have been fertilized or hybridized by ChatGPT.
In a nutshell, this reply is SoundEagle🦅’s verbose but conscientious way of thanking you with a good dose of dry wit.

SoundEagle, let’s set the record straight. I have used ChatGPT 4 times, 3 of them to satisfy you on your post ‘We have Paleolithic Emotions; Medieval Institutions; and God-like Technology’
In the 1st response, in good conscience I I could not be a fake and pretend I was the author of something I wasn’t. The 2 other times I used it was at your request and I’m still waiting for your assessment of what ChatGPT came back with, much different that my 1st use.
The 4th time was asking for appropriate words to write on my friend’s Birthday Card, and the words were so appropriate to how I characterized my friend. His Wife told me how much they meant to him. There was no good reason I had to tell him ChatGPT took my characterization and made them so much better.
To be honest, I’m offended your mind entertained this, one (you) may begin to wonder whether your assurance here constitutes merely a frisky yet thinly veiled display of your tease and facetiousness, or an actual concern that SoundEagle might indeed construe your previous comment pertaining to your compliment on and promotion of this post entitled “ Easter in Modern Multimedia Perspective ”, and perhaps even your aforementioned confession, as coming not from your heart and soul but from the digital mind of your AI bestie.

Those words did in fact, come from my heart and soul. As smart as you are, what would you pose to ChatGPT to get those words back?

As mentioned before, SoundEagle🦅 has intended to reply to you by means of a verbose but conscientious approach to thank you with a good dose of dry wit regarding your diligent use of ChatGPT in conjunction with discussing and analysing other pertinent matters. Nowhere has SoundEagle🦅 even hinted slightly that you have used the chatbot excessively or inappropriately. Therefore, whatever that appears to be some offence (or even insult) to you should be reconsidered and re-examined with great care to avoid any miscommunication or misinterpretation, especially considering the consistent presence of good will from your host, who has always thought highly of you.
Happy Easter!

There is no chance of a breach between us SoundEagle, but differences of opinion can strain even solid friendships from Time to Time. You know I have a great deal of respect for your extraordinary talents in constructing your Blog and I promote it at every opportunity.
“Nowhere has SoundEagle🦅 even hinted slightly that you have used the chatbot excessively or inappropriately.
So I beg to differ with your previous comment;
“It seems that you have now acquired a new best friend in the form of an ever-obedient, answer-on-the-fly chatbot,”
“as one that came not from your heart and soul but output by your AI bestie?”
This little bump in the road will pass and fade from memory soon enough!
Peace, sincerely,
Ray

Dear Ray Cormier
Thank you for further clarification. As firm as your judgement and interpretation have come across, one still hopes that a person such as you may have already sensed the intricacy and diversity in how your host expresses with words (as well as graphics, videos, illustrations and animations). There are indeed certain risks and costs involved in cases when the (intricate conveyance of) humour as well as the underlying message(s) of SoundEagle🦅 falter at reception or fail to be appreciated, whether or not you (or anybody for that matter) will eventually come to understand the nature of this particular (mis)communication or (mis)interpretation through re-examination.
Regardless, a chatbot as sophisticated as ChatGPT can indeed be someone’s new best friend in the domain of online query and preliminary (re)search, as long as the user is cognisant of its limitations, many of which has already been highlighted by SoundEagle🦅 in various comments generated by some of our previous interactions, especially those happening in the post entitled “Paleolithic Emotions; Medieval Institutions; and God-like Technology”. Whether one examines your quotations by grammar or logic, one can come to the judicious realisation or conclusion that (anyone) stating that ChatGPT has become your AI bestie, or that you use a chatbot for some purpose instead of relying on your own words, is not tantamount to stating that you have used the chatbot excessively or inappropriately, not to mention the profound declaration already revealed to you — that SoundEagle🦅 appreciates both your presence and essence, whether or not they have been fertilized or hybridized by ChatGPT.
Lastly, (mis)interpretation (and the risk of hasty judgement) aside, one would recommend reading and comprehending sentences, paragraphs and even the entire comments as an integrated, cohesive whole, and avoid (the temptation of) citing specific phrases such as the ones you have quoted as the immutable proof of what is (rightly or wrongly) regarded as contentious or objectionable, as though there is categorically no room for any reasonable doubt or reconsideration.
SoundEagle🦅 has little or no further plea or recourse should you (continue to) be unadulterated and unhesitating in your regarding this incident as a definite deficit or misstep of your host, without entertaining even the slightest possibility or plausibility that you have been in any way not beyond reproach in what you consign as “[t]his little bump in the road”. Thank you for your understanding and friendship.

It has been my habit for the last 12 years to give up weed and wine for Lent, and from Good Friday to Easter Sunday, I Fast completely, no OJ, coffee or anything. Sometimes it’s really tempting to break with a fridge full of food. I can be with friends who are smoking and drinking and I’m not tempted to break the Fast.
Easter Sunday my 88 year old Sister and I are invited to my niece. She and her Husband are the most gracious Hosts with 2 beautiful grown children. It’s always such a pleasure to finish off the Fast with them, and the finest Restaurants could not put on a better spread of food.
Joyeuses Pâques to you as well!
