Live a good life.
If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by.
If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them.
If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.

Inspiring quote I totally agree with you, Sound Eagle, that we should live a good life. We should do so ,not because we are afraid of God, but because we love Him. God has given us both good and bad qualities. It is for us to chose how to live our life without expecting anything from others. Love unconditionally. Give instead of receive. Most importantly, love the God within. He resides in our heart.
Life is a celestial gift,
Live life to the hilt.
